Malcolm Weaver
Director

Malcolm has been an Accountant for 25 years, and has worked for KPMG in Australia and Ernst Young in London.

Malcolm was formerly Financial Executive Manager for the Slade Consulting Group and has extensive experience in both the corporate and small business world. As well as being a Director of BDN, Malcolm has operated a specialist small business practice in Ballarat since 1990, with his clients' annual turnovers ranging from $100,000 to $15 million.

Malcolm provides his clients with expert assistance on management issues, as well as financial analysis and planning.


David Hawkins
Director  

David has significant experience assisting companies with their marketing and communications programs. He has ten years experience consulting to small and large businesses, government departments and ministerial offices. He specialises in customer service and loyalty programs.

He is an experienced trainer, having developed the Response Media Training Program and the Response Presentation Training Program. He lectures at RMIT in the areas of Public Relations and Marketing.

His clients include Moreland City Council, Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind, Finnish Tourist Board, Directorate of School Education, BMW Melbourne, Solaris Power and Peddle Thorp Architects.


John Leatch
Marketing Manager

John has first hand experience in the small/medium business world having owned and operated three businesses personally. He has also spent many years working with SME's as a trouble-shooter, assisting with areas such as finance, production, marketing, human resources and business planning.

He has professional qualifications, and spent many years in senior management roles working as a Financial Controller for several major Australian companies. 

John's areas of expertise cover business planning, budgeting, restructure and change management, financial analysis and reporting, business attitude and culture.
